Hi everyone, I saw this picture of the royal pair in the English Heritage members magazine, and I couldn't resist publishing it. What a truly romantic photograph of Victoria and Albert at the re-enactment of their marriage ceremony. Queen Victoria's dress is stunning and Prince Albert wears his military uniform. The photograph is part of 'Victoria & Albert: Art & Love exhibition' at the Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace which brings together over 400 items from the Royal Collection.

You might want to also visit Buckingham Palace for a tour from 27 July - 29 September when the Queen is away at one of her country residences. I have been on this tour and it's absolutely fascinating. You will need a pre-booked ticket.

The Cow Parsley Walk at Eltham Palace

Hi everyone. We missed the bluebell walk this year, so over the weekend we did what I call 'the cow parsley walk' at Eltham Palace. The old fashioned name for this native flower was 'Queen Anne's Lace', an incredible sight en masse. A walk round the gardens is always an inspiration, and we finished the afternoon with a cream tea!
